São Tomé e Príncipe
- São Tomé e Príncipe
Where this mission has been taking shape
Today, we want to bring you a little closer to the place where God has allowed us to serve so far: São Tomé and Príncipe.
It is a small African island nation—rich in beauty, history, culture, and welcoming people—but also a place with realities and needs that often remain unknown to those on the other side of the ocean.
Hope to the Nations was born to serve, to connect people to the mission field, and to bring hope beyond our borders and São Tomé and Príncipe has been, to date, one of the places where this mission has taken shape.
🇸🇹 This is where we have met families.
This is where we have embraced children and young people.
This is where we have listened to stories.
This is where we have met missionaries and people who serve every day.
This is where we have seen needs that go far beyond what a photograph can show.
But before speaking only of what is lacking, we want to introduce the nation and its people.
So, from now on, let’s explore São Tomé and Príncipe together.
We want to share a bit of its history, culture, food, landscapes, communities, customs, and unique characteristics.
We will also talk about the challenges faced by families, children, and young people, and show a little of the work we have been doing and the projects we hope to develop in the future.
Because mission doesn’t begin when we arrive wanting to change something.
Mission begins when we learn to see, listen to, get to know, respect, and love the people God has placed before us.
We want you to know São Tomé and Príncipe not just as a place on a map, but through the people, stories, and experiences that have deeply touched our hearts.
You can work with us if you want
We all work as friends, and if we all work together.
